This is the cost to build a two bedroom home near Flores. Rene and his family are very happy to be able to have what
most families will never have: their own home!

We met Antonio who runs a pharmacy in Panajachel at church where he asked us to come meet his father. We drove through
the rain, in the dark, on dirt roads and up hills to get there but it was worth it. New pews are among the items purchased
for this project.

Read about this little girl and others on the "Trips" page. We have helped several individual children attend
public or private school. This little girl age 11 got to ride with us (her first time in a car) to buy shoes (her first pair
ever). We are working to get her into school currently.

April, 2005 Today Josephina attends school five days a week and continues to improve. She is a happy little girl!

July, 2005--Josephina found us at our medical clinic in Godinez and the change was almost miraculous! She brought a friend!
This little girl, teased by all and liked by no one we could find now attends school and has at least one friend and does
two things she never did 8 months ago: talks and smiles! What a change!
