Much has been written about unbelief and the sin associated therewith. The sin of unbelief in its strictest form is the
failure to believe in God's plan for the salvation of one's soul through the blood of Jesus Christ and his death, burial and
resurrection. If you suffer from this form of unbelief, you are in trouble and you probably know it. No matter what is happening
in your life there seems to be little purpose and a lack of understanding as to why you are here.
If this describes you click on the link below to find the answer.
I Don't Understand/I Want to Know More
Another form of unbelief has to do with Christians (I use this word to describe true followers of Christ). This unbelief
stands between the "Blessed" life and the "cursed" life and keeps most true Christians from finding joy
in their life on this earth.
The Cursed Life
Jer 17:5,6 This is what the LORD says: "Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who depends on flesh for his strength
and whose heart turns away from the LORD. He will be like a bush in the wastelands; he will not see prosperity when it comes.
He will dwell in the parched places of the desert, in a salt land where no one lives."
Welcome to the life of most Christians! They have accepted Christ and have begun feeding on the milk of the Word. This
is where it all starts. Unfortunately this is where many of us stay. Babes in Christ! How innocent and wonderful! But
not for long. This is a dangerous place, full of temptations and difficulties. This is a place we must grow out of as soon
as possible. How long will we stay in this place? Paul says it like this:
1Co 3:1-3 Brothers, I could not address you as spiritual but as worldly-- mere infants in Christ. I gave you milk, not
solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready. You are still worldly...
Several years had passed since these people became Christians. And now Paul is telling them that, at the beginning, he
couldn't give them solid food because they were not yet ready. But now, even after more years they had not progressed out
of this infant state. How could they expect the blessings and power of the Lord?
Is this you? Does it seem like you are disconnected from God? Do you seek the deeper blessings that you only hear about
from others? Do you even wonder if they're real? Are you tired of "playing" Christian by just going to church?

I Want to Grow
The Blessed Life
Jeremiah 17:7,8 "But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree
planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit."
Better read that again. "Blessed is the man...no fear...no worries...no failures" I want to be blessed, don't
you? I never again want to fear or worry or fail, don't you? Unless you measure up to this paragraph (lots of blessings,
and no fear, worry or failure) please go back to the link above. That's most of us. The link below is for the really special
Christians, the ones who have crossed over into the promised land. If that describes you, please click on the link below.
But be careful; only click it if you have already arrived and are one of the "special" Christians.
I am a "Special" Christian!
