We continue to find new projects and people needing help, lost in the government bureaucracy and running out of hope.  It is fair to say that there are half a dozen or so volunteer organizations/people we know of working in the area to try to help the people.  The problem is simple: it's very difficult to find people willing to donate to this cause.

You may rest assured that every penny contributed through this outreach organization goes to the community, to the people who need it the most.  We rely upon God to direct us and have been blessed to find many friends who give us information about the needs of the people.  We are confident that the money you give goes to the people who need it the most.  Every penny.

No money obtained through this web site goes to the personal expenses of any foreign person (such as myself).  All administrative costs of this outreach are paid outside of any contributions.  Simply put, anything that comes into this organization in the way of supplies or money goes directly out to the people of this Lake Atitlan region.
